Days Out Worcestershire Things To Do Worcs UK

The county of Worcestershire lies in the West Midlands region of England, and from 1974 to 1998 joined Herefordshire to form Hereford and Worcester. The new county proved to be unpopular with inhabitants of both counties and was therefore abolished.

Worcestershire has a rich history - it was the site of the Battle of Evesham, and later the Battle of Worcester in the English Civil War. As well as historical attractions there are the stunning landscapes of the Black Mountains, Malvern Hills and Wye Forest to visit.
