Days Out Wales Things
To Do Cymru UK
The country of Wales lies on a peninsula in
central-west Great Britain, and has much to offer despite being a fairly
small country.
Much of Wales's beautiful and diverse landscape is mountainous,
particularly in the north. The south is made up of industrial areas and the
main settlements, the cities of Cardiff, Newport and Swansea.
Wales has a rich and varied history, as well as breathtaking scenery.
The Romans mined for gold, the Tudor dynasty was founded, and
the Normans built castles here, giving Wales it's nickname 'The Land
of Castles'.
