Days Out South Yorkshire & Things To Do S Yorks UK

South Yorkshire makes up one of the four divisions of Yorkshire in the north of England. The only city in the county is Sheffield, once famed for it's steel products but now one of the greenest cities in Europe, also known as the setting for the film 'The Full Monty'.

The other main settlements in South Yorkshire are Barnsley - a market town, Doncaster - an old Roman town also known for it's horse racing, and Rotherham - an industrial town that borders Sheffield on the River Don.
