Shropshire

Days Out Shropshire & Things To Do Shrops UK

Shropshire is a sparsely populated rural county in the West Midlands region of England, though it is also described as being in the Welsh Marches. The River Severn runs diagonally through the peaceful county, from the north west to south east.

The main commercial ventures of Shropshire are Sheep and Cattle farming, however despite being an agricultural county, the Ironbridge Gorge area of Shrops is known as the 'birthplace of industry'. Many tourist come to see the world's first iron bridge, built in 1779.
