Leicestershire

Days Out Leicestershire & Things To Do Leics UK

Leicestershire is a landlocked county in the heart of England. The county has borders with Lincolnshire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire.

The county has many historical sites of interest - The Luddite riots were started in Leicestershire, and the Jewry Wall is the second largest piece of surviving civil Roman building in Britain. Leics also has some great walking country in its grassy uplands, and some beautiful stretches of water.
