Days Out Isle Of Wight & Things To
Do IOW UK
The Isle Of Wight lies just off the south coast of England, and at 150
square miles is one of the smallest counties. 'The Island', as it is
known locally, is a mix of rural landscape, dramatic coastlines and traditional
seaside towns such as Ryde.
A big event in the IOW is Cowes Week, an annual international yachting
event that attracts many visitors to the island. The Isle Of Wight Festival
is a favourite with rock music fans. However lots of visitors to the
Isle of Wight simply come to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of island life.
