Days Out Herefordshire & Things To
Do West UK
Herefordshire is an attractive rural county famous for
its apple and pear orchards, and cider production. Situated in the West
Midlands region of England, the county borders Wales as well as the English
counties of Gloucestershire in
the south east, Shropshire in the north and Worcestershire in
the east.
The beautiful Malvern Hills, an area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty, lie partly in Herefordshire. The range of hills offer scenic
views over the county and the River Severn.
The Malvern hills are made of some of the oldest rock in England, in parts
being over 600 million years old.
